Private email membership for lawyers

An address with standards.

Admitted is preparing an application-only email membership for independently responsible lawyers. Applications are not yet open.

Email membership, not a law firm, bar credential, rating, or endorsement.

Admission, plainly stated.

This process takes effect when applications open.

  1. 1 Apply

Provide identity, jurisdiction, license details, a resume, and address preferences.

  2. 2 Review

Staff checks objective eligibility and consistency against official sources.

  3. 3 Activate

If approved, accept membership terms, secure the account, and begin the $199.99 monthly membership.

Membership is limited, and “verified” is dated.

Membership will be limited to lawyers who are currently active and authorized to practice in a supported U.S. jurisdiction. Verification is time-bounded: it confirms defined facts as of a displayed date, and members will be periodically reverified. It never certifies quality, ethics, specialty, results, or universal good standing.

The full eligibility criteria, review process, and the exact meaning of every status label are published on the Standards page.

Admitted is a private email membership for independently responsible legal professionals. Membership confirms only that Admitted verified the member's identity and current authorization to practice in at least one listed jurisdiction as of the stated verification date. Admitted is not a law firm, bar association, regulator, referral service, rating, certification, endorsement, or guarantee of competence, ethics, results, or professional standing.

Terms at opening.

Applications are not open, and no fee can currently be paid. These terms take effect when applications open.

Application review

$99.99 once

Resume and credential review. Approval is not guaranteed. The fee becomes nonrefundable when an assigned reviewer records the first substantive verification action; your status page will show that timestamp.

Approved membership

$199.99 every month

Begins only after approval and a second, separate checkout. Automatically renews until canceled. One address. Applicable tax may be added.

Approval can never silently convert an application into a subscription. Full refund rules are published in the Refund Policy.

Security is part of the standard.

Applications have not opened and no applicant data or member mailbox exists yet. The commitments below describe how the system is designed to operate, and each must be verified before any of it handles real data.

Strong authentication

Passkey-first accounts, with TOTP and single-display recovery codes as fallback. Password-only access will never activate or administer a mailbox.

Private document handling

Resumes will go into private, access-controlled storage, scanned before any reviewer opens them, and deleted on a published schedule.

Mailbox isolation

Each member's mailbox is designed to be an isolated account with a contracted provider that must demonstrate, before launch, that no member can send as another member.

Monitored domain controls

The domain will operate under registrar locks, DNSSEC, monitored DNS, and a strict mail-authentication policy. Ordinary email is not end-to-end encrypted.

Plain-language details, current status, and responsible disclosure are on the Security page.

Make the address deliberate.
